Every big house in Reims sells its own cellar tour, on its own website, for a set time slot. The shortest costs EUR 30 at Mumm and EUR 90 at Ruinart. Would you rather someone else booked the slots and drove? Then a champagne tasting tour reims day is the other way in, with the tastings in the fare.
These six big houses publish their visits online. Prices are each house's own, in euros, for an adult on the shortest guided visit. You book each one separately.

The house's guide leads you down and pours at the end. The shortest tours pour one or two glasses. So if you want to taste more widely, plan two houses, or add a grower.
Veuve Clicquot receives visitors at its Visit Center Saint-Pétersbourg, 1 rue Albert Thomas. Its tours go down into chalk pits that are part of the UNESCO listing. You choose by length and by what is poured:
In 2026 the house opens Tuesday to Sunday from 7 April to 28 June. It opens every day from 29 June to 30 August, then Tuesday to Sunday again to 1 November. From 4 November to 3 January it opens Wednesday to Sunday. Visits run from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, and the house closes on 1 May, 25 December and 1 January.
It is a 30-minute walk from the city centre, or 15 minutes by car from Reims Centre station. Strollers and wheelchairs can go down on request, and animals cannot.
At Domaine Pommery, the guided tour “The genius of Madame Pommery” takes 2 hours and costs EUR 48. You walk the cellars and the chalk pits, which are on the UNESCO list, then the museum. The tasting is two cuvées, Apanage 1874 Brut and Rosé Royal, and the tour runs in English or French. “Champagne and heritage” costs from EUR 55. The house says Madame Pommery created the first brut champagne and opened the estate to visitors in 1878.
Taittinger keeps its cellars on the site of the former Saint-Nicaise Abbey, 18 metres underground. Its galleries and Gallo-Roman chalk quarries sit inside the UNESCO property. The house opens for tastings all year, with a choice of formats, and has a restaurant on site, the Polychrome. Check the price on its own booking page before you go.
Ruinart, at 4 rue des Crayères, runs a 2-hour visit for 12 people at a time. It costs EUR 90 for an adult, EUR 50 aged 7 to 17, and nothing under 7. You taste two cuvées.
The crayères are the draw. About twenty chalk pits sit on two levels, about 40 metres deep, in a labyrinth of 8 km. The house says it was the first in Reims to put its cellars in the chalk pits, in the 18th century.
Mumm, at 34 rue du Champ de Mars, was founded in 1827. It has almost 25 km of cellars and 218 hectares of vines. Its tours last 1 hour 30:
Mumm opens every day from 1 May to 31 October. From 1 March to 30 April, and from 1 November to 21 December, it opens Thursday to Monday. From 15 January to 28 February it opens Thursday to Saturday. A visitor with reduced mobility can reach only the first level.
Lanson, at 66 rue de Courlancy, runs tours of about 2 hours at EUR 32, 40, 55 and 85. Teens aged 13 to 17 pay EUR 20, children aged 7 to 12 pay EUR 15, and under 7s go free. You can visit its shop and taste without a booking.
Each house is a separate booking and a separate walk. A tour books the cellars, drives you between them and adds the family growers no bus reaches.
Épernay is the other half of most full days. The Épernay tourist office puts it 27 km from Reims, 30 minutes by the regional train. Its Avenue de Champagne is five minutes' walk from the station.

At Moët & Chandon, tours run from EUR 48. Mercier's 18 km of cellars lie on a single level, and a lift takes wheelchairs down. Nicolas Feuillatte runs shuttle packages from Épernay station.
A tour's fare already covers its tastings, so you do not buy a house ticket yourself. What differs is who pours. Every day falls into one of three kinds:
